To provide some financial help to the pregnant women working in the tea Gardens the government introduced the scheme in 2024. The name of the scheme is the ” wage compensation scheme”.  In 2018 and 2019 government had already provided the benefit of the scheme to more than 50000 pregnant women every year. Each pregnant woman will receive rupees 15000 from the state government under this compensation scheme. The government provide the benefit of the scheme to more than 1 lakh women currently.
