The scheme was officially launched in 2020 with a financial assistance of rupees 830 every month to the women. Then, with time, the government increased the financial assistance from  Rs 830 to Rs 1,000. And now the women are getting rupees 1250 every month under the scheme. The government provides this financial support to the women so that they can take care of their families and fulfil their basic needs. The women can purchase the daily needs medicines, pulses, sugar, and essential fruits and vegetables every month with the help of this.

All the women who belong to economically backward household families are eligible for the scheme, and the government mainly targets all the villages in Assam so that it can help them to uplift their living standard. • They also validate the Aadhar details of the beneficiaries to avoid any duplicity. After that, they will sync your bank account details with their unified database system.
• District administration will make all the necessary rectifications in the incorrect beneficiary details.
• After the full verification of all the details, the finance department transfers the funds on the 12th of every month.
• They will send the money only to the approved beneficiaries’ bank accounts every month.
