The women of Assam will get financial assistance in three stages under the scheme. In January 2026, the Chief Minister released the first stage fund to more than 50000 women. Financial Assistance Distribution

All the women beneficiaries under the scheme will get the amount in three stages.:

  1. Seed Capital: This is the first stage where the women will get rupees 10000 from the state government.
  2. The second instalment will only transfer when the women utilise the seed capital amount in the right direction. In the second installment women will get Rs 25000, which includes Rs 12500 from the bank and Rs 12500 from the government as a grant. The women will get the bank loan at a subsidised interest rate.
  3. Now coming to the third installment which will be transferred and distributed only into the bank account of successful entrepreneur women. In the third installment women will get Rs 50000 for their business.

Eligibility Needed

  • All the women of Assam self-help groups are eligible for the scheme.
  • The women should belong to Assam state only.
  • The annual income of the applicant should not exceed more than rupees 1 lakh.
  • The government provide the funds only for the small and micro entrepreneurs.

  • The women with more than three children belong to the general OBC; SHG are not eligible.
