Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has finally made the announcement for mukhyamantri Jibon Prerana scheme. The government made this announcement on 27th February 2026. In this announcement, they have mentioned that the DBT scheme is now ready to be availed by the eligible beneficiaries. The government offers monthly assistance to graduate students under the scheme. Previously, the scheme was launched on 3rd November 2025. All the students will get rupees 2500 monthly. This financial support helps the student with their preparation for competitive examinations.
