Assam CM Flight Scheme 2026, Eligibility and Benefits For Unemployed Youth

Those who have dreamed of a job in another country have some good news from the Assam chief minister. The government has finally announced the “Assam CM Flight Scheme” initiative, where they provide the facility to get the training in the Japanese language and learn employment skills. The government want to encourage all the youth so that they can compete globally with others to get overseas jobs. They launched this scheme in October 2025, where they mentioned that they want to equip the unemployed youth in the state for overseas employment opportunities. They offer Japanese language proficiency training so that they can earn up to Rs 2 lakh per month in Japan. The candidates will get 5 year work visa in Japan.

All the costs of the training for the youth is wear by the state and Japanese government, and the students have no worry regarding the financial burden. After the training, those students who qualify for the Japanese language examination will get a job opportunity and a visa for a period of 5 Years. This is the big opportunity provided by the Assam government to offer financial assistance for the total expenditure of the Japanese language course. Assam CM Flight Scheme 2026

The scheme provides foreign language training to the unemployed youth in the state, where they prepare the students for the JLPT N2 level test. This is the Japanese language proficiency test. The state government offer this Japanese language training facility through companies like Meiko Career, Jaceex Ventures LLP, Asean One Co.Ltd, etc. These companies will provide the facility to learn the Japanese language, which will help them to get employment opportunities to work under Japan specified skilled worker visa initiative. CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, during the announcement of the scheme mention that this will have to overcome the unemployment issue in the state and provide the excess to the youth to get jobs in Japan.

This training facility enhances the skills of the youth so that they can easily stand out in these countries. The government provideRs 1.5lakh for the student to complete the training program, including a visa facility. The total cost of the training is estimated at around Rs 1.8 Lakh, where the student needs to pay only 30000, and the rest will be paid by the State Government and the Japanese government.

Eligibility Criteria

• Only the Assam residents are eligible for the scheme.
• Age criteria is 18 to 35 years.
• The minimum education qualification is 12th or a graduate.
• Unemployed youth are eligible.
•  Applicant must have a basic knowledge of English.
• Applicant must be physically and mentally fit

Tuition Fees

The tuition fee to pay is Rs 1,88,000. This needs to be pay with in 6 months. You can also get the facility to pay the admission fee within a month after taking admission. The admission fee is rupees 25000.

Distribution Of Financial Assistance

• As we have already mentioned, the total cost for the training, including Visa and tickets, is rupees 1.8 Lakh.
• The state government will pay rupees 1 Lakh out of the total cost.
• The Japanese government provide rupees 50000 to the students and youth who are eligible.
• The remaining 30000 will be paid by the student.
• Once the student and the youth complete the training course and get the certification of Japanese language proficiency They will get half the amount.
• Remaning amount will be given after the Visa and air ticket confirmation.
• Once the youth reach their destination, the government provides Rs 50,000 for the candidate’s initial settlement in the other country.
• This is how the government distribute the amount in instalments to the selected candidates.

Objectives

• The training program is 10 to 12 months, and the candidate needs to pay the entrance examination fee, admission fee, and other fees, including the tuition fee.
• This scheme is launched under assam Skill Development Mission program.

• The student can access the official ASDM Assam Government website.
• On this website, they will provide the notification regarding the Assam CM Flight Scheme and student recruitment advertisement.
• You can click on the student recruitment advertisement where they have provided youwit the QR code.
• Once you scan the QR code, they provide you with the registration form for the Academy, where you can learn the language.
• The classes for the CM flights scheme Japanese language training have already started from 23rd February. But there are a few seats still available for the applicant.
• They will take the personal consultation as per the date preference.
• You can fill in the registration form with all your details.
