In the announcement, they mentioned that all the farmers who have taken loans from the Cooperative Bank are eligible for the scheme, and the government will spend more than 2000 crore under the scheme. The government has waived loans in two categories. The marginal farmer category, where they will get relief of crop loan up to rupees 75000. And the second category is the large farmers who will receive rupees 5000 as a fixed amount for their Cooperative Bank loan.

In Tamilnadu who the farmers are relied on the cooperative banks for their agricultural activities and loan facilities. All the small and marginal farmers receive the loan facility from the cooperative banks. When the Chief Minister made this announcement, all the Cooperative Bank loan farmers got big relief.
